I didn't read the manual first since was exited to try it right away and I think I did it the wrong way and wasn't sure what to expect. after I red it I noticed you should only twist it clockwise and that ears only need cleaning about once a week because it takes time to produce earwax to the point you need to clean it. so we stopped the habit of too many ear cleaning like the way we used to do after each shower. overall we found it much better and easier to use comparing others we tried before. just read the instruction first and use it when you really have earwax build up to remove.
